Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Tablet - Screen Versions (Multi-Touch VS Outdoor Display)

Gear: X201T.

There are different X201T screen configurations, some are meant for outdoor use and others indoor. Each of the configurations were 12.1 inches LED WXGA displays at a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Multi-touch vs SuperBright (front angle)

1. Wacom Digitizer Display (Base model)

• Accepts only Wacom digitizer input.
• No multi-touch capabilities.
• 200 nits brightness.

2. Multi-touch Screen + Wacom Digitizer Display

• Accepts Wacom digitizer.
• Accepts 2 touch inputs via fingers.
• 300 nits brightness.

3. SuperBright Outdoor Display

• Accepts only Wacom digitizer input.
• No multi-touch capabilities.
• Adds a bit of glossiness.
• 400 nits brightness.

For most indoor use I would recommend the Multi-touch + Digitizer option. If you are an outdoors guy I would go for the SuperBright Outdoor display, even when it loses the multi-touch.
