Many years ago I had a H4 Handy Recorder, and the recordings were incredible. Prior to a deployment to Iraq I decided to sell most of my belongings and the H4 was one of them. Lately I have wanted to improve audio quality in my videos and in the future I would like to record some audio fx for games, so I got myself a Zoom H2n and an Accessory Pack.
The box.
The back of the box.
The inside of the box.
The box contents. As you can see a 2GB SDHC card is included.
The H2n unit.
The grill portion.
The screen and recording button.
Right side: power on/off slider, MIC gain, previous/play/next wheel/button, and Menu button.
Back of the unit.
Left side: USB (for powering or for PC audio interface), 3.5mm Line Out for headphones, Remote port, Volume down/upo, Mic Line In port.
Microphone configurations. In my unit the MS setting provides the best audio quality, the other configurations have a hideous noise.
The SDHC port and attachable screw hole.
The H2n is powered by two AA batteries.
The SanDisk card is NOT included, but it offers a larger storage. Frankly it's overkill for audio recordings and I might use it with video recordings instead.
Class 10 offers the fastest transfer speeds of SDHC cards.
The included batteries are Maxell AA Alkaline. They are NOT rechargeable.
The screen displays audio levels, configurations, battery life, and everything you need. The manual is very extensive on the many configurations you can have.
The Accessory Pack is usually not included with the H2n, so you might have to get it separately.
The back of the Accessory Pack box.
Inside the box.
Accessory Pack contents.
The case + strap.
The mic windscreen.
Clip handle.
The small tripod.
The tripod legs extend. The tripod is very light, and therefore quite unstable.
This is a cable for extending the remote's reach.
The remote features Pause, Mark, and Rec buttons. The remote helps minimize an initial "noise" that would otherwise occur if you just pressed the H2n record button.
I would love to win it!! What do I have to do? just comment here? thanks for the giveway is really what I was looking for!
