Ultra Wide / Panoramic Computer Monitors (21:9)

I was looking for a monitor that would be easy on the eyes, instead I found these amazing 21:9 aspect ratio computer monitors!  The aspect ratio allows people to have multiple programs running side by side, or to just have one very wide movie, game, or image being displayed.  I presume these could also be very useful for video and audio editing.  Surprisingly, most of them sell for less than $1000.  It beats trying to create a very wide projection via projectors, or the previous attempts at ultra wide with curvature.
