This is me!
Hi. My name is Jesse, and I'm a technology enthusiast. I buy and sell gadgets for my amusement and share my thoughts about them on this blog. I feel that it's important to not only cover reviews, but also share some useful troubleshooting guides.
Now, the reason you are here is because Dr. Google, or some other search engine, has deemed some of my content as useful. To find what you are looking for use the search box, or the Labels found at the bottom of this website. If you can't find a solution, but you think I have one, then send me an email and I'll do my best to give you a good response. Enjoy!

FINANCES
Everything I do is possible because of other people.
In 2009 my Marine unit deployed to Iraq, the funds earned in that deployment were used to begin my blogging efforts. In late 2011 I exhausted the funds and now the blog survives 100% on contributions that come through Amazon, Adsense, and donations.
Earnings are used to acquire gadgets, pay for domains and hosting, and get equipment. Often times I lose money when buying new systems, but I recoup some money through the sale of accessories in affiliate links.
Revenue
- 2015: $1,312.28
- 2014: $2,518.73
- 2013: $3,901.71
- 2012: $6,671.06
- 2011: $3,603.56
- 2010: $2,698.41
- <=2009: $127.26
Freedom
I DO NOT get funds from any gadget company to do reviews, therefore I have real freedom to express my opinions. I do my best to not take review units because getting something for "free," or loaned, can have an effect on my opinion. If, however, I get a review system I will pay for all refurbishing costs and give a donation to charity--this latter move is because I believe that there has to be an exchange of value and nothing should really be "free."
Work
Some posts can be for fun while other posts are work. Work is time + effort + discomfort (at times). When I create these posts there is no guarantee that I will make the investment back. Since there is no guarantee of making any money it can be very hard to "work." My only hope is that one day the investment pays for expenses + enough to get new gadgets.
Donations
If you feel that the contents of this blog are useful please consider donating. I would rather take a donation from consumers than to accept advertising money.
